Dedicated servers are also unmanaged, and include free reboots and one free operating system reload per month. You can provide any Linux operating system you would like installed. They provide Microsoft licenses as well. They have many different servers available depending on your needs.

If you have your own servers that just need a secure home, Joe’s Datacenter also provides unmanaged colocation services. They include free reboots and 24/7 support — and there’s no setup fee.

There are a variety of plans to choose from depending on your equipment, bandwidth needs, and other details. You can choose to either ship your equipment, or install it yourself.

Network

Joe’s Datacenter has multiple bandwidth providers that ride fiber into the datacenter and terminate at their equipment. They’re able to maintain at least 99.9% uptime due to their use of multiple edge and distribution switches. Their network uses redundant fiber paths to all switches and all-new equipment. They also keep spare replacement parts on site for all network equipment just in case, and they perform nightly backups of switch configurations.

Support and Customer Service

Joe’s Datacenter offers 24/7 customer support available via ticket, email, or phone. Support is provided by staff on location at the Kansas City data center. They also have on-site technicians who can deal with any network issues or hardware problems.

Billing and Payment Policies

Joe’s Datacenter accepts payment via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), PayPal, check, or money order.

Cancellation requests must be made in writing before your billing is renewed for the next term. For colocation services, Joe’s Datacenter can package and ship your equipment back to you, though they charge a labor and materials fee to do so.
