How to Use Our Arvixe Coupon

1. Copy our promo/coupon code above to your clipboard.

2. Click through to the Arvixe website. Don’t worry; the link will open up in a new window so you can still follow along here.

3. Click the large “View Plans” button to compare Arvixe’s available web hosting plans.

4. Scroll through the plans, and click the black “Order Now” button below the plan you would like to order. (Alternatively, you can click the big green “Order Now” button to the right, choose which plan you want to order, and click the blue “Add to cart” button next to it.

5. You’re now on Step 2 of 4: Billing in Arvixe’s order process (it should say so at the top of the screen). On the right hand side of the screen, look for the Shopping Cart sidebar. Review your shopping cart to make sure you’re ordering the right hosting plan, and that our promo/coupon code has been entered into the field labeled “Promo/Coupon Code.” If it’s empty, you can paste the code there from your clipboard.

6. On the left side of the page, fill out your contact information and create a username and password. Be sure to read the Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service before you agree to them. Then, click the “Next” button at the bottom of the form.

7. The next page should be Step 3 of 4: Product Config. Fill in the form to choose your billing term, domain name, automatic renewal options, and server location. You can also choose to add on extra products and services such as SSL Certificates, Tomcat for websites coded in JSP (Java Server Pages), and Priority Support. When you’re done, click the “Next” button at the bottom.

8. You’ll be able to review your order one more time before you’re sent to the payment screen. Carefully check over the contents of your shopping cart in the right sidebar, making sure your discount was applied. Once you’ve confirmed all the order details, click the “Place this Order” button to go to the payment screen.

9. The payment screen is the final step. Choose your payment method and enter your payment information, and you’re ready to start creating your website!

Which hosting plan should I choose?

Arvixe has a wide variety of available shared hosting plans including shared hosting, business hosting, VPS hosting, and dedicated server hosting. The plan that’s right for you will depend on your needs for your website.

If you’re starting a small personal website that won’t get much traffic at first, it’s probably a good idea to save some money and start with a basic shared hosting plan, which you can upgrade later on as your site grows.

If you’re starting a website that will require a lot of resources for storage and/or bandwidth, it may be a good idea to look at Arvixe’s VPS and dedicated server plans. If you aren’t sure which plan is the right fit for you, you can speak with Arvixe’s sales team for advice.

Can I choose month-to-month billing?

Yes, you can pay for a single month when you order your hosting plan. However, keep in mind that your coupon code only applies to your first invoice period, but your service will renew at the regular rate. You can get a bigger discount by paying for a longer period up front.

What other billing cycles do they offer?

You can order 1 month, 6 months, 1 year, or 2 years hosting.

Is domain registration free?

Yes, all of Arvixe’s hosting plans include a free domain registration (it includes only .com, .net, .org, .us, .biz and .info domains). The domain is free for life, as long as you renew your hosting account with them. The offer also stands for domain transfers.

What types of payment do they accept?

Arvixe accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. They also accept Paypal, Skrill, Amazon Payments, Bitcoin, and Alipay.

Can I use Paypal to purchase a hosting plan?

Yes. Arvixe accepts many payment methods including Paypal.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes, Arvixe offers a 60-day money back guarantee for new shared hosting plan accounts. Refunds are for hosting costs only, and don’t include extra services such as domain registrations or SSL certificates. You must request your refund within 60 days of signing up for your new account.

Will my price go up when my hosting plan renews?

Yes, the discounted price you receive with our promo/coupon code is for your first invoice period only. You can receive a higher discount by paying for a longer period of time when you set up your account, up to 2 years up front.

Does Arvixe offer domain privacy?

Yes. It’s standard for hosting companies to charge an additional yearly fee for domain privacy, but Arvixe actually offers free domain privacy. All you have to do is click the “Private Registration?” checkbox underneath the domain field when you register a new domain.

If you missed the checkbox, you can still get domain privacy: just log into your account, and navigate to Domains in the main menu. Click the + sign next to the domain in question, and then turn on “Private Registration.”

What is “Automatic Software Installation”?

This is a free extra feature Arvixe offers when you set up your new account. If you would like to have certain software automatically installed to your new hosting account (including WordPress, Joomla, PrestaShop, and many more), just click the checkbox and choose your desired software from the dropdown menu.

Do I need an SSL Certificate?

If your website collects and/or processes any kind of sensitive information (username and password, credit card information, private customer data) you should have an SSL certificate. Arvixe provides free 256 Bit SSL Certificates and free installation with all their hosting plans.

What is “Tomcat”?

As you fill out Arvixe’s order form, you’ll notice Tomcat is one of the advanced extra features you can add to your order for an additional fee. Tomcat is required for any website that’s coded in JSP (Java Server Pages). Most customers won’t have to worry about this. If you’re not sure what it is, just leave the box unchecked; you most likely don’t need it.

Should I pay for Priority Support?

Arvixe provides 24/7 customer support via phone and ticket system for all of its customers. If you find yourself spending a lot of time contacting support for help, you may want to consider purchasing priority support to get help more quickly. Arvixe promises faster response times via phone or email with Priority Support, though they don’t specify how fast exactly.
