After several bad experiences with other budget hosting providers (who either had too many technical problems, or restricted services without notice, or suddenly closed shop altogether), I moved my three domains to a shared hosting account at Fastnext several years ago. There were only some minor technical glitches (my sites are light on resources and maintenance), which were solved pretty fast by the friendly team. A major hacker (SPAM sender) attack a few months ago was also taken care of within minutes of being detected. And when I sent US$30 as a thank you to the support crew, they were extremely happy – it seems this money goes a long way in Ukraine, where the technical team is located.
Altogether, I can wholly recommend Fastnext for anybody looking for a cheap but stable and supportive service!

I am an amateur web developer and was attracted to fastnext because they are cheap. I have hosted several sites with them for more than 5 years. My sites are up *almost* all the time, and the server seems to be reasonably fast, although I think speed and uptime are probably the biggest downsides of their service.
What more than makes up for that is the incredibly fast and helpful customer service. I have broken the server several times with my incompetence, and more recently my site was hacked twice and the files wiped. Customer service agents (Daria and Oksana) responded to my emails within 15 minutes and helped me fix the site and restore everything on each occasion.
For the price, this is great value.

In 2005, I was searching a best hosting service which one can handle a high traffic website. At the same time, my economics didn’t allow me to spend a huge amount for it. I was searching, reading reviews, monitoring uptimes, … Actually, I was researching myself. At last I found this FastNext.com. Their hosting features particularly limited features (e.g: 3TB bandwidth, 300GB storage) all are impressed me. Because, I already known how a few services misuse the meaning of “unlimited”. As Isaac Newton’s saying, genius has limit. Yet I too hesitate about their support and service. Finally I signed up with a (inner) fear.

While sending payment, my bank faced problem, and the settlement delayed. But FastNext’s billing department has really generous people. They started their hosting service on time. It was amazed me! Because, I’m in India, they are in UK!

And then, I could understand they are a great team. I had contacted the support team for a few problems like a CMS installation, apache configuration, backup. They helped me within a day!

Now 2011! I still stick with them. I have not had any problems in hosting service, speed, domain management, support, transfer, billing, software upgrade, … all are going smooth! If we seek a minus point at them, it may be their homepage theme! IMHO, they should upgrade a web2.0 styled theme 🙂

I always recommend them for my friends and relatives. A really great hosting service at affordable price.
