IISNet Networks Introduction

ISSNet Networks is a US-based hosting provider that operates in Canada, USA, and Europe. Founded in 2003, they specialize in hosting solutions for business and online retailers. Their mission is to provide exceptional customer support while maintaining affordable prices.

Services and Specializations

ISSNet Networks offers three levels of shared hosting, depending on the size and scope of your online presence. All of their plans support multiple websites, feature cPanel control panel, and provide one-click installations for over 300 applications using Softaculous. Their servers utilize SSD storage for faster page loading, and all plans include a free domain registration. Plans vary based on the amount of storage, total monthly bandwidth, number of websites and parked domain names they can host, and the number of databases you can create. A standard SSL certificate is also available for an additional annual fee.

ISSNet Networks also provides VPS hosting featuring the latest 64-bit version of Centos OS, OpenVZ virtualization, SolumVM control panel, a minimum of 4 CPUs, root access, and free OS installs. All plans support multiple websites, but vary based on storage space, bandwidth, and RAM. cPanel/WHM control panel and additional IP addresses are also available for an additional fee.

ISSNet Networks also offers reseller packages that support unlimited accounts and include WHM/cPanel. Plans vary based on disk space and monthly bandwidth.

Support and Customer Service

Technical support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The ISSNet Networks team can assist with troubleshooting, debugging, script installation, and programming languages; however, they cannot guarantee services beyond maintaining the standard operation of your server.

Security and Backups

The ISSNet Networks’ terms of service states that customers agree to maintain their own current copy of all their hosted files, and that ISSNet “may” offer weekly back up service. When backups are available, customers can request one backup restore for free; additional backup restores can be purchased for a fee.

Uptime Guarantee

ISSNet Networks provides a 99.95% uptime guarantee. In the event they do not meet this guarantee, customers can request a partial refund.

Billing and Payment Policies

IISNet Networks accepts payment via MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.

All plans include a 30-day, money-back guarantee.

What We Couldn’t Find

ISSNet Networks provides little information about their servers. They do not specify where in Canada, USA, and Europe their servers or located, and it is unclear whether they maintain their own datacenters or rent servers from other providers. They also do not provide any information regarding physical or data security measures they have in place.

Conclusion

With well over a decade of experience, ISSNet Networks has firmly established itself in the hosting world. They offer everything you will need to host multiple business or ecommerce sites, with high-end hardware to ensure fast page loads, so if you’re looking for an experienced host with a commitment to going above and beyond for their customers, ISSNet Networks might just be for you.

If you’re only interested in hosting a single website, you could easily find a host offering similar features at a lower price; however, for business clients that need to manage multiple sites, they offer a competitive solution.
