RoseHosting Introduction

RoseHosting is a US-based hosting company located in St. Louis Missouri. Founded in 2001, it was the first web hosting company to offer Linux virtual servers.

Services and Specializations

The backbone of RoseHosting is their Linux VPS packages, which are fully managed and offer at least 2 CPU cores, SSD storage, 1 IP address, free migration, and full weekly backups. They offer 8 pre-designed packages, from their starter VPS with just the essential RAM, storage, and bandwidth to their high-end plans with unmetered bandwidth and enough RAM and SSD storage to run just about any web project. For a more personalized plan, you can also create your own custom server with any specs you need.

They also offer 5 shared hosting plans. All shared plans include your choice of cPanel or DirectAdmin control panels, SSD, free weekly backups, Softaculous 1-click installations, and RVSiteBuilder Pro. Plans vary based on the number of domains you can host, storage space, bandwidth, email accounts, subdomains, and databases you can install. Their higher-lever plans also include a dedicated IP address and Anonymous FTP support.

They offer 8 Linux dedicated server packages, all of which include XEON processors, 1 IP address, and DirectAdmin CP. Plans vary based on processor type, RAM, bandwidth, and storage space. Most plans feature RAID5 storage; higher end plans include SSD drives. Custom-built servers are also available upon request.

Infrastructure

RoseHosting’s datacenter is located less than 100 miles from the US population center, in St. Louis, Missouri. It features redundant cooling and fire extinguishing systems, connectivity to all of the world’s major backbones, and multiple 10 GigE, Gigabit, and OC-3 connections with a redundant Gigabit internal network.

Support and Customer Service

RoseHosting support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most emails and support tickets are responded to within 5 minutes.

RoseHosting has a no-overselling policy, meaning they will never try to sell you additional storage, bandwidth, or other resources that you don’t actually need for your website.

Backups

Weekly backups are provided for all shared and VPS plans. Each backup overwrites the last, so it’s a good idea to set up your own automated backups as well, in case an issue goes undetected for more than a week. Dedicated servers do not include automatic backups.

Uptime Guarantee

RoseHosting offers a 100% uptime guarantee.

Billing and Payment Policies

RoseHosting accepts all major credit cards. All plans renew automatically on the first day of a billing cycle, either for one month or one year. Accounts more than 7 days overdue will be suspended, and accounts over 30 days overdue will be permanently terminated. Suspended accounts may be charged a reconnect fee upon reinstatement. Cancelations must be made via the control panel prior to the start the next billing cycle.

Conclusion

As the world’s first Linux virtual hosting provider, they have proven their ability to innovate and provide a reliable service. They offer more than enough pre-built packages to meet most customer’s needs. If that’s not enough, they also offer custom packages for their VPS and dedicated plans, so you can definitely get the specs you’re looking for.
