Several months ago I had a VPS package with them for a while. I’ve got to say that I was very pleased with everything. Particularly the network speed and their support.
Unfortunately the VPS package was a little overkill for my situation.
I requested a refund and they gave it to me without issue (unlike some other hosts).
I went back my previous shared host and quickly realized that my websites were once again slow.

As soon as my old host’s package expired, I went back to SiteValley’s share hosting.
My websites speeds were once again amazing.

The only downside to SiteValley is the lack of some preinstalled features.
Though their support has always been there to help me quickly resolve the issue, install any features I needed very quickly.
They also helped me out with some things hosting support usually doesn’t help with!

I recommend SiteValley to anyone for their amazing speeds, quick and friendly support as well as their great prices.

Whatever you do DON’T use SiteValley for hosting, here’s why. Upon initial sign up everything went well, I chose their business plan to host my two small blogs, in the first week or two my hosting needs were met, although it did take several hours to get familiar with the Direct Admin control panel, CPanel is far better and i’m not sure why SiteValley go down this route with their shared hosting, virtually all hosts use CPanel with their hosting packages.

After this period I kept getting 404 errors along with out of memory errors. I called Sitevalley to ask why this is happening and what I could do to help prevent this, please note that my two blogs received less than 500 views a day between them. The SiteValley support immediately suggested I upgrade my account to a VPS, without providing me with any reason why my two blogs were constantly offline, foolishly I decided to upgrade.

Again the VPS was setup along with the added cost of Direct Admin, once installed and upon first inspection I noticed that there was no easy WP installer included with DA on their VPS, I tryed using their online chat but this just showed a 404 error page, this page has been moved, not a good start, so I had to raise a ticket, finally after two days they sent a response requesting further cash for this function, fair enough but surely someone should have told me about this when upgrading.

Believe it or not my first two months seemed good on the VPS, things are looking up or so I thought, but the third month they decided to bill me an extra 3 dollars a month, not much i know, but what was this mystery extra billing for? again I tried contacting their online support, another 404 page, so I raised yet another ticket, their response was that the price I was paying was only for two months and that my billing will stay the same from now on.

By about the fourth month of hosting on their VPS I went to sign into my WP Admin, and all i got was a error page, after checking my traffic on google I noticed nothing for three days, I was confused to why this would be so I checked my billing, nothing wrong their, they had taken the money out for the months hosting, so I contacted them again, this time I was told that my Direct Admin CPanel needed licensing, and that they were sorry but their was a mistake on their system, they corrected this within 30mins, but the damage had already been done, my two little blogs had vanished from page one on google, and my traffic over the coming weeks was less than 50 visits, my google page speed was very slow too.

I swiftly changed hosts, not without problems their either, as my new host used CPanel not DA, but they were quick to get my sites up and running again, I chose shared hosting with Hostgater, this was far cheaper, and my two blogs are always up, no memory errors, blank pages or problems and ive not needed to contact Hostgater support for anything, my blogs are running good.

It’s been 3 months now and my websites have recovered there rankings in Google, in fact I am getting over 800 hits a day, with cheaper shared hosting.

Please don’t make the same mistake as I did, If you plan on running a successful business online, avoid SiteValley Hosting like the plague.

SiteValley.com offers three major website hosting options. If you’re a small business or a large

purchase hosting for large or complex websites will need technical knowledge or advanced
support. Keep in mind that there is no premium support package available here, so if you do not
have the technical skills required to manage your site, you may need to look elsewhere for hosting.
