MidPhase was founded by Dan Ushman and Zac Boca (the current president of Singlehop) in 2003. In December of 2007 the British-based UK2 Group took over midPhases Services Inc’s shared and virtual private server (VPS) business, along with its web hosting brand names AN Hosting.com and Autica.com.
